Snow Fun

Well not as nice a day here today.  It has been overcast all day but at least it is dry.  I am sharing a layout I did using another sketch.  The picture are of my husband and daughter skiing.  I cut the title, snowflakes and mittens on my Silhouette Cameo.  I added two brown buttons and 1 brown brad.  I used a Martha Stewart punch.  The paper line is Echo Park Winter Wishes. Thanks for stopping by.

Love

Good Afternoon.  Another beautiful day here in Colorado.  I am sharing a layout that I did using a Becky Fleck Sketch.  I had a blast making it.  It came together quickly and I just love it.  It is from Valentine's Day last year.  I used my Silhouette to cut out the arrow with the heart and the tag. I used my Explore to cut out the circles, hearts and title.

Here is the sketch I used:

Love you a Latte

Good afternoon! It is beautiful outside today. While the East Coast is having a snow storm we are expecting a high of 70 today in Colorado. Today I am sharing a card that I made for the Scrappy Mom's Stamp Challenge. I am also submitting it to Simon says Stamps Challenge for Hearts. It is one that I have been wanting to make ever since I got the Love you a Latte cartridge. I think it turned out so cute. I cut the latte from Love You a Latte on my Cricut Explore. I would have made the oval smaller but ran out of the red paper so I went with it. It was cut from the Elegant Edges cartridge. It makes me feel warm inside.
Challenges entered:

  1. HIMCR #184 - Any Holiday!
  2. Scrappy Mom's Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Think Warm!
  3. Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge  Simon Says Have a Heart

You're the Jelly to My Peanut Butter

My daughter is going to her best friend's birthday party today. Ever since their soccer coach said they go together like peanut butter and jelly it has stuck. So I had to make a birthday card with that sentiment. The sentiment is usually you are the peanut butter to my jelly but since her friend is the jelly in their relationship I switched it around. I used my Silhouette Cameo for the shapes and the sentiment. I put the bread(s) on action wobbles. The Happy, Happy Birthday sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps.
It turned out so cute. I know she will get a kick out of it.

There's Snow one like you

Good Afternoon. I am sharing with you a card I made for my husband. It says There's Snow one like you. I used my Cricut explore to cut out the snowman. It was from the CM Cheerful Seasons cartridge. The snowflakes are from Going Places. I put the snowman on an Action Wobble and it is too cute. I colored the snowflakes with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush and then put pink bling in the center. The stamped sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps. I just love how this turned out. Thanks for looking.
I am entering this into two challenges: Wednesday Wobble Challenge: Anything Goes and Fantabulous Cricut FCCB Challenge #243 Snowmen

Bitten By the Bug 2 Challenge

I decided to make my brother and his wife a card for buying their first home. They closed on it today. I am so excited for them. They live in another state so I won't be able to see it for a while but I wish them lots of happiness. This card fits the requirements for Bitten by the Bug 2 Challenge of using Letters, phrases or Numbers. I used the phrase Home Sweet Home inside the card. It came from the circuit cartridge Storybook. The house and grass are from Create a Critter. The tree is from April Showers and the clouds are a cricut craft room freebie. I inked the clouds to make them stand out. I also faux stitched the tree with a white Sharpie. I used Stickles on the heart and doorknob. I love the way it turned out. Thanks for looking!! I also wanted to say that I got this card idea from Cindy Vernon at Creating with the Heart.

Die Cuttin Divas Challenge

Today I am sharing a card that I made for my brother-in-law. It fits the Die Cuttin Diva Challenge of making something that fits Cheer Up. I used up some scrap paper. I cut the tie out from Simply Charmed on my Cricut explore. The Stamp comes from Scrappy Moms Stamps. It is simple but I like the way it turned out.

I Am Back...

WOW!!  I didn't get very far posting on a blog.  I want to start trying some challenges and thought I need a blog!  There are so many blogs that I follow and love that I feel I can't compete.  I will do what works for me.  It is a learning process, right?  Thanks for checking me out.  I will post my simple projects while I continue to learn.  I am learning all of the endless possibilities from my Silhouette Cameo and Cricut Explore.  Thanks for visiting.

I made this card for my DD before she went on a Church Retreat.  I cut the fish bowl, water, sand and plants out on my Cricut Explore.  The fish are from Miss Kate Cuttables. I cut them out on my Cameo.  The stamp set is fromVery Punny by Stamping Up.
