Happy Mothers Day!

Here is the card I made for my mom for Mother's Day.  She loves owls so I thought this would be perfect.  I used My Cricut Explore to cut the frame, owl and the inside sentiment.  I used a Stampin' Up stamp for the sentiment on the front.  I also used enamel dots from My Minds Eye.  The flower in the card is one I had in my stash.  I love how it turned out.

Birthday Girl

Good Afternoon.  Today I am showing a card that I made for my niece.  Since she loves My Little Pony I cut a unicorn from the Silhouette Store and took off the horn. I also added a grass border. It turned out cute and I know she will love it.  I used Scrappy Mom's Stamps called Birthday Hugs.

Happy Mother's Day

Today I made my first Mother's Day card of this year.  I think I will give it to my mother in law.  I used my Cricut Explore and the following cartridges:  Postage stamp- ribbons and rosettes, banner: When I was a Kid, and Butterfly:  Martha Stewart All Occasions.  I copied the postage stamp and welded it together.  I loved how it turned out.  I used a Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush for the inside of the Butterfly.  I used Scrappy Moms stamps for the sentiment.

What a Pair!

The weather here has been gorgeous.  We sure are getting spoiled.  We are expecting 3-4 days of rain and snow starting Wednesday.  YIKES!!  Today I am posting a card using a shape in the Silhouette Store by Miss Kate Cuttables.  The cute pear is the name of it. I have been wanting to use it forever, since I first saw it.  I used Scrappy Moms Stamps " The Charmed Life"for the sentiment.  I will give it to my sister and her husband for their anniversary next month.

Eggcellent

This is Peyton, Candie's daughter. I wanted to blog these eggs because I had the best of time dying them with my family and wanted to show you these. Some eggs are painted, to having stickers, to having words to, being tie-dyed. I thought these eggs were awesome and I hope you think they are pretty cool too.

XOXO

Good Morning!  Today is conference and planning day at my Daughter's school so she has today and tomorrow off.  My husband took her to the mountains to go skiing the next two days.  So no cleaning, cooking, or running around to various activities for me.  Since I miss them I took this opportunity to make a simple card with a silhouette shape from the silhouette store that I have been wanting to use for a while. I used Scrappy Moms Stamps "Love Notes" for the sentiment on the outside and inside.

BIG HUGS

Good Afternoon.  It is beautiful here but super cold.  I made this card for a friend who had a tough mom week last week.  I wanted to give her "BIG HUGS" and let her know that I was thinking of her. I used the Cricut Explore to cut the Hippo. It came from the Cartridge Create a Critter.  I actually used the IPAD app and bluetooth adapter.  I love it!!  The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper stamps.  It is hard to tell but I used a Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to put glitter in the ears and flowers.  It looks very pretty in real life. The paper is Recollections from Michaels.

What a Tweet Heart

Good Afternoon! Today has been nice but this weekend brings us a fair amount of snow.  I am sharing a card I made today.  Let me start by saying the lighting is not very good and doesn't do the card justice.  I cut the card out on my silhouette.  It is  the center panel step card by Lori Whitlock. The bird and balloon are from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.  I used a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps.  I love the way it turned out.

It has been a chilly day.  We got about 5-6 inches of snow yesterday but a lot of it melted last night.  I got another layout done today.  It is from a trip we went on to San Diego last September.  We stopped at the beach where my husband had proposed to me in 1998.  I used my Silhouette Cameo for the title and my Cricut Explore for the scalloped rectangle and the journaling.

Here is another layout I did this weekend.  I love the way it turned out.  My daughter is almost 4 in the pictures.  She is playing in the snow and painting her snowman blue using water and blue food coloring.  I used my Silhouette to cut out the shapes and title.

Whale You Be Mine?

I have been fighting a bad cold for almost two weeks now and I finally got into my craft room.  So I made my daughter this Valentine Card.  It turned out so cute.  I use my Cricut Explore to cut out the Whale from Create-a Critter and my Cricut Expression to cut out the Scalloped Squares from Elegant Edges.  I used the Pink Stamper stamps called "I Heart" Punny-Licious.  I had the twine in my stash. The Whale is on an Action Wobble.

You are the Milk to My Cookies

I made this Valentine Card for my husband.  It turned out so cute!  I cut the cookie and milk out on my Silhouette Cameo.  The sketch for my card came from Die Cut Diva.  I ordered the stamp set that has this sentiment on it from Scrappy Moms Stamps but they haven't come yet so I wrote it using the Don Juan font using my Cricut Explore.

Love you a Latte

Good afternoon! It is beautiful outside today. While the East Coast is having a snow storm we are expecting a high of 70 today in Colorado. Today I am sharing a card that I made for the Scrappy Mom's Stamp Challenge. I am also submitting it to Simon says Stamps Challenge for Hearts. It is one that I have been wanting to make ever since I got the Love you a Latte cartridge. I think it turned out so cute. I cut the latte from Love You a Latte on my Cricut Explore. I would have made the oval smaller but ran out of the red paper so I went with it. It was cut from the Elegant Edges cartridge. It makes me feel warm inside.

You're the Jelly to My Peanut Butter

My daughter is going to her best friend's birthday party today. Ever since their soccer coach said they go together like peanut butter and jelly it has stuck. So I had to make a birthday card with that sentiment. The sentiment is usually you are the peanut butter to my jelly but since her friend is the jelly in their relationship I switched it around. I used my Silhouette Cameo for the shapes and the sentiment. I put the bread(s) on action wobbles. The Happy, Happy Birthday sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps.
It turned out so cute. I know she will get a kick out of it.

The snowflakes are from Going Places. I put the snowman on an Action Wobble and it is too cute. I colored the snowflakes with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush and then put pink bling in the center. The stamped sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps. I just love how this turned out. Thanks for looking.

Bitten By the Bug 2 Challenge

I decided to make my brother and his wife a card for buying their first home. They closed on it today. I am so excited for them. They live in another state so I won't be able to see it for a while but I wish them lots of happiness. This card fits the requirements for Bitten by the Bug 2 Challenge of using Letters, phrases or Numbers. I used the phrase Home Sweet Home inside the card. It came from the circuit cartridge Storybook. The house and grass are from Create a Critter. The tree is from April Showers and the clouds are a cricut craft room freebie. I inked the clouds to make them stand out. I also faux stitched the tree with a white Sharpie. I used Stickles on the heart and doorknob. I love the way it turned out. Thanks for looking!! I also wanted to say that I got this card idea from Cindy Vernon at Creating with the Heart.

I Am Back...

WOW!!  I didn't get very far posting on a blog.  I want to start trying some challenges and thought I need a blog!  There are so many blogs that I follow and love that I feel I can't compete.  I will do what works for me.  It is a learning process, right?  Thanks for checking me out.  I will post my simple projects while I continue to learn.  I am learning all of the endless possibilities from my Silhouette Cameo and Cricut Explore.  Thanks for visiting.

I made this card for my DD before she went on a Church Retreat.  I cut the fish bowl, water, sand and plants out on my Cricut Explore.  The fish are from Miss Kate Cuttables. I cut them out on my Cameo.  The stamp set is fromVery Punny by Stamping Up.
